About Serene Settings Landscape Design
Serene Settings was founded by Christopher Scalcione, a Palm Coast resident with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the landscape design and maintenance industry. Chris brings creativity, passion and enthusiasm that is rarely seen in this arena. He has a unique ability to listen to the needs of his customers, find the absolute best ways to incorporate their needs into his designs and maximize the beauty, function and usefulness of any landscape.
After working for many years in the landscape design and maintenance industry, Chris was the owner of a successful landscape company in New York. He and his family made the difficult decision to sell his company and move to Florida for a “sunnier” life. For the first several years, Chris served as the Design Center Manager for VerdeGo in Bunnell . He retired his position at VerdeGo to realize his own vision and grow a full service landscape company here in northeast Florida.
As the years have gone by, Serene Settings has grown to one of the foremost landscaping design and lawn maintenance companies in the Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Ormond Beach areas. As beautiful landscapes are created and maintained throughout St. Johns, Flagler, and Volusia Counties by the company, the reputation of Chris as a brilliant botanical artist and expert on native plants just keeps growing. As his long list of delighted landscaping clients will attest, Chris does design like no other competing landscaper. His personality and attention to detail surpass anyone else in the field.
